Spontaneously we had in the afternoon with friends a table for 4 people book. The food of the service was outstanding. Price also we thought first, that the restaurant would be very high priced. In retrospect, we can not confirm all that. We like to come back.

Nice young service staff ... The food was delicious and adequate, but common German cuisine (spicy meat, Wiener Schnitzel, goulash ...) We sat outside on the terrace. That was nice. Inside we just sniffed, it looked comfortable ....

Our Easter menus were not only delicious, but also tastefully prepared. Even the small greeting from the kitchen, top thanks for these great dishes. The service was very nice and accommodating. Everything was clean, the rooms stylishly decorated and the tables nicely set. We'll be back 🤗

My family and I were easter sunday in the restaurant Kaiserhof food. We had reserved in advance for 6 people and it worked wonderfully. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and brought to our table. From then on, we were well taken care of. The service was very polite and courteous. We did not have to wait long for our drinks and food. From the kitchen there was a small greeting in advance. I had a 4-course menu, it was delicious and definitely to be recommended. The other menus looked delicious too. It was all fresh ingredients which you also tasted. I have given 4 stars, as I think the room is still up. All in all it was a great evening and I will definately go back for dinner.

Very delicious food had on the weekend the wild ragout and were thrilled. The service was very fast, polite and courteous. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation, if you value quality and freshness of the food is here at the right address.

I'm totally disappointed. Could not check the services today. According to website is currently open. We were kindly made aware that today only hotel guests are spoiled. In the very well-kept restaurant not 1 guest ??? Too bad. 🤔😕

Absolutely not recommendable! We had ordered a birthday coffee table for 15 people three weeks in advance and were looking forward to a nice day in a wonderful atmosphere. Two days before we called ourselves back to our memory and inquired whether everything was going well, which was confirmed to us. In any case, we have not been forgotten: We found a provisionally pushed together “coffee table” where everyone could sit. The waitress was then completely overwhelmed with taking our order. But that could not have been due to the "large" selection of cakes. There were four types. In order to accommodate the overwhelmed, we suggested that we simply put two cakes on the table. However, this was not possible, she said, since there wasn't that much cake left anyway. There are only five of the strawberry cake left, so the birthday party was allowed to figure out who would get the bid. When asked about the shortage of cake, the waitress reacted a bit snuggly. After all, there have already been other café visitors, which, however, should hardly explain the shortage given the early afternoon. The cake was then served with an unsightly whipped cream splash, which gave the impression that it had not been spent in the spray cream bottle for a long time, but on the plates in a warm environment. We stayed in the great hunting hotel. As part of the half board, we ate a rich breakfast buffet in the Kaiserhof and in the evening we each received a 3-course menu. We are very satisfied. There is fresh, delicious food here. Especially the compilation was something else (we could not choose and were surprised) Very successful!

The castle itself is enchanting anyway and deserves a visit either way if you are nearby. The bottom line is a clear recommendation if you want to enjoy good food in a historic atmosphere.
